MMA training in west chester

There's something funny that happens to people who do too much Jiu Jitsu:

They forget that they can be punched.

They also forget that in order to do Jiu Jitsu, you have to take people down to the ground.

That means that they need some wrestling or Judo skill to go with their BJJ.  But wrestling and judo are hard.  Jiu Jitsu is fun.  It's like hanging out with your friends and wrestling in thick pajamas.

Let's not forget that in order to wrestle someone to the ground, you have to get past his fists, and his kicks, and his knees, and his elbows, and his sprawls... it's a fiasco.

The point that I'm trying to make in this crappy placeholder article is that if you want to truly be prepared to fight in any position, in any scenario, and against any opponent... you're going to need to MIX your martial arts. 

The art of Ground N' Pound IS its own art.  Those who neglect it do so at their own peril. 

So, let's hop on the ground and punch each other a little. 

Or not.  

I'm cool with whatever.
